# Siteplane UI Trademark Policy

The Siteplane UI source code is licensed under the MIT License. The MIT
License does not grant permission to use the Siteplane UI name, wordmark, or
official logo as branding for another product or distribution.

## Uses That Do Not Require Permission

You may:

- truthfully state that a product is built with, compatible with, or based on
  Siteplane UI;
- link to the official Siteplane UI repository or documentation;
- identify unmodified Siteplane UI source as originating from this project;
- make fair and truthful references that do not imply sponsorship,
  endorsement, or official status.

Use only as much of the name as is needed for that reference. For example,
"Based on Siteplane UI" is acceptable when it is accurate and is not the
primary name of the derived product.

## Uses That Require Permission

Without prior written permission, do not:

- use Siteplane UI, a confusingly similar name, or the official logo as the
  name or primary branding of a fork, product, service, company, package,
  domain, or commercial offering;
- present a modified distribution as an official Siteplane UI release;
- use the name or logo in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or an
  organizational relationship with the official project;
- alter the official logo and use the result as branding for a derived
  distribution.

Forks and commercial derivatives are permitted by the MIT License, but they
must use distinct branding. They may describe their relationship to
Siteplane UI truthfully in supporting text.

This policy does not limit rights that applicable trademark law already
provides for fair or nominative use. It is a project policy, not a claim that a
mark is registered in every jurisdiction.
