Find, install and compose Siteplane UI through skills, shadcn tools and targeted documentation.
Entry points
Start with Setup, install the skill, and configure the shadcn CLI or MCP server. Follow the application guidelines. Use the component catalog to select public components, then inspect their exact props and complete examples.
llms.txt is a compact content index. llms-full.txt contains the current authored docs with complete example source. Each page’s Markdown action exposes that same page without the interactive shell. These outputs are generated from the same MDX pages and TSX examples as the documentation website.
Find the right component or example
The public registry catalog includes installable components, support items, component examples and the three application examples (registry type registry:block). Search it through the shadcn CLI or MCP. Component items expose purpose, search terms, useWhen, avoidWhen, provider notes and known limitations from the component metadata.
Read the selected item’s docs link for the actual props and composition. Retrieve a default example with <component>-demo or a named example with <component>-<id>-example. Each example contains the canonical TSX and its own install dependencies. The Markdown page also links to the same raw TSX file.
Use the installed API
The registry installs editable source. Read the component page and import the named public parts from the installed module. Do not infer a Siteplane UI API from a similar library. Date values, selection callbacks, composition parts, and form serialization differ among controls.
Start with a complete application
- Team settings: forms, preferences, save and reset.
- Resource management: filters, sorting, details and confirmation.
- Application shell: responsive navigation and content layout.
Install the listed dependencies and run the exact source before adapting it. Then make the smallest application-specific change that satisfies the task.
